Welcome To The West Sussex Walking FestivalThe 2011 festival took place over the three days of FRIDAY 7th, SATURDAY 8th and SUNDAY 9th October with five walks to choose from each day.  We were delighted that H.F. holidays allowed us the use of Abingworth Hall on the Sunday and we arranged a rather splendid barbecue on the patio overlooking the lake to round off the festival that afternoon.  And on the Friday and Saturday we had great support from the National Trust, R.S.P.B., Chichester Harbour Conservancy and Horsham Healthy Walks - all of whom led walks for us. It was a great little festival with a nice varied mix of walks in this beautiful county of ours and including the leaders nearly 200 people took part.
